The Report is where we’ll share data and insights from the world of ranking — the trends we spot as people create tier lists across games, anime, movies, food, and more. Think of it as a look behind the curtain at what the internet loves to rank and how opinions shift over time.

Why we’re building The Report

Every tier list created on this site represents a small snapshot of somebody’s opinion, and across thousands of tier lists, patterns start to emerge. We think that tier list ranking data is genuinely interesting on its own: which characters consistently land in S tier, which categories get ranked most often, and how opinions shift after a new release. The Report is our home for turning that raw activity into something readable.

How we plan to gather the data

We are building this section carefully rather than rushing out numbers that do not mean much. As more tier lists are created and shared, we will look at aggregated, anonymized patterns rather than any single person’s list, and we will always be clear about what a given chart or figure is actually measuring. If a stat here ever looks unclear, our contact page is the fastest way to ask us about it.

What a finished report might look like

Once there is enough tier list ranking data to work with, expect pieces that highlight a single category in depth, like which anime openings or fast-food items get ranked highest across hundreds of boards, alongside shorter roundups that compare a few categories side by side. Some entries may look back at an entire month or year, similar to a highlights reel of what people were ranking and why.

Want to be part of the data?

The simplest way to contribute is to keep making tier lists the way you already do. Every board built with our tier list maker adds a small data point to the bigger picture, and the more variety in topics and opinions, the more interesting The Report will be once the first insights are ready to share.
